Every year we are introduced to a new crop of undercard gems at Camp Flog Gnaw. Here are some artists that are worth making the trek up the Dodger Stadium hill to see early this year.

This incredibly gifted musician started her journey by learning classical piano at the age of four. She studied at prestigious jazz schools in London where she discovered Tyler’s Cherry Bomb. She weaved her own mixture of classical jazz and inspiration from modern artists like Tyler and Stevie Wonder to create her own unique sound. Having already opened for major acts like PinkPantheress, her appearance at this year’s festival is set to send her to the next level.

Hailing from South Carolina, this artist blends gritty guitar riffs with catchy beats and his unique gravel tone. His southern musical influences are apparent on his fantastic latest EP entitled “gutta child.” Beyond his strong EP, his visuals in his music videos show he has a strong unique perspective often missing in an artist’s early stages. We look forward to seeing what he will bring to the stage this year.

You may know this artist without even recognizing the name. She is featured on the Oscar-winning film K-pop Demon Hunters. Having studied at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU, her incredible voice rocketed the song “Golden” to the top of the charts. However, even before the Oscar success she was making incredible trap and R&B tracks. She can pivot from trap rap to blockbuster film soundtracks all while being an icon in the streetwear scene. I expect her set to be nothing short of eye-catching.
